There was a good level of equipment in the kitchen, a comfortable sofa, a practical dining table, TV and internet, and excellent heaters in the flat as we had some chilly nights for the time of year. There was also quick service from the owner to repair the front door lock and from Rebecca at Wight Holiday Lettings with help on the shower. On Arrival, there was a very comprehensive guide folder for the flat and the area. Ventnor is a lovely town with great restaurants and pubs. late-night supermarkets. lots of character. The town is built on a steep hill and the flat is on the town level with a short walk down to the beach, a bit of a steep hill on the way back but with great views.
The weather was not the best, but who can tell what one week in June is actually going to be like. There was a bit of wind around the building because of the location, but on fine days you would not have this issue. |
