Nestled on the grounds of the owner's home and surrounded by rural countryside this creatively designed, eye catching two storey barn conversion is able to accommodate up to five guests and is dog friendly too, Ideal for a small family or couple wanting to enjoy a peaceful, rural escape.

On the ground floor the property offers a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room with corner sofa and TV in front of a wood burner. The large doors behind the seating area open up onto a further small, enclosed garden and offers a barbecue and outdoor seating area

Upstairs there are three bedrooms to choose from two doubles and a single bedroom all served by a family bathroom.

Outdoor pursuits on the island are well catered for and include horse riding, fishing, cycling, paragliding, water sports and golf. There are numerous attractions to discover for all ages. Pay a visit to Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and Gardens, Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK, the famous Needle landmark, Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Tapnell Farm Park, Carisbrooke Castle or the sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes.

Family bathroom: bath with overhead shower, toilet & wash basin

Enclosed garden, with garden furniture to the rear of the property.
Parking for 3 vehicles at the front of the property and extensive gated grounds.


PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit will be required a week before arrival at the property. No money is taken, unless damage is reported at the property within 14 days of departure.

This property can accept a maximum of 2 dogs. The charge is £35 per dog, per week and we kindly ask that you bring your own dog bedding. Please ensure that you correctly add your pet(s) when making your booking, so this additional cost is included. If it becomes apparent that you have brought a pet(s) with you but did not advise us, we will contact you to request payment separately.

Arrival time: 16.00 onwards / Departure time: 10:00

There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car, unless agreed with the Owner of the property. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without prior approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost.

Initial logs for wood burner will be supplied at the beginning of your stay. Guests will be required to purchase more if required.

Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and cot linen as necessary.

​There is a strict no smoking policy at this property.

Please be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival.

A breach of the rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

The Island Holiday Company are able to offer discounted ferry travel when you book your holiday through us.


The rural village of Blackwater is located about two miles south of the county town of Newport, close to the geographic centre of the island and is within ten minutes' drive of Newport, with large, modern, shops, cinema, pubs, restaurants, sports facilities and more traditional farmers' markets and old style stores.
