Cowes Town House has a contemporary design split over three floors with a large master bedroom which offers a super king-size bed or two singles (zip & link bed). A dorma and two velux windows provide a light and airy feel to the master bedroom. On the 1st floor is the main bathroom with a large walk in shower, a double bedroom plus a dressing room/study which can accommodate an adult/child with a fold down bed. On the ground floor is a fully fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven , hob and dishwasher as well as a microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. There is a downstairs cloakroom and a washer drier in the under stairs cupboard. To the rear is the lounge/diner with bifold doors leading to a private south facing patio area which is ideal for evening barbecues (BBQ provided) and eating out on warm summer evenings. A gated side access to the rear patio area provides an secure area for storing bikes, sailing gear and personal belongings. An allocated parking space is adjacent to the property.

PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit will be required a week before arrival at the property. No money is taken unless damage is reported at the property within 14 days of departure.

Arrival time: 16.00 onwards / Departure time: 10:00a.m.

There is a strict no smoking policy.
Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels as necessary.

Kindly be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival.

A breach of the rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

Cowes also boasts a rich wealth of history and culture with its ‘twin’ East Cowes just across the Medina estuary by chain ferry.
Stroll through the vibrant town and enjoy independent shops and well-known yachting clothing stores, sit at a pavement café or have a restaurant lunch and people watch or enjoy a glass of something cold and watch the sun go down over the Solent before having dinner at some excellent pubs and restaurants.
Take yourself across the water to East Cowes via the chain ferry and enjoy a slice of great British history at Osborne; Queen Victoria’s seaside residence. Stroll along her beach and enjoy the walled garden and Swiss Cottage. It’s a wonderful spot for families or just to wander through on your own. There are cultural museums, events and galleries to enjoy on both sides of the Medina and you’ll notice the influence of Prince Albert’s ornate designs in the architecture of many houses and buildings

The location was great for a family. We mostly self-catered from the house, so were grateful for the choice of shops in the area; Aldi, Lidl, Asda, Co-op were all close by. Also, there are lots of places to eat out if you wanted to. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We were especially grateful for the dishwasher and washing machine with a young child! The shower was great and the bed was comfortable. The house is lovely and modern, nicely decorated and clean. It felt like a home from home. We enjoyed a BBQ in the little paved garden, that was safe and secure for our son to explore. . We found the location to be central to lots of attractions. We drove to 'The Needles' in 35 minutes. We also visited Monkey Haven, Ryde Beach, the Steam Railway and the centre of Cowes. All great to explore and not too far to travel. Thanks for hosting us on our lovely family mini break!

The town house was beautifully decorated in keeping with the surroundings. Rachael and Andy where very attentive when it came to the welcome basket and available on the phone when needed. The facilities in the property were of a high standard. The location of the property is very close to Cowes Town and within walking distance to a bus or ferry. Rachael and Andy also put together a really thoughtful pack which included local restaurant menus and left current things to do IOW magazines.
