This new apartment is perfectly positioned to watch the ships passing by, whilst enjoying the sunlight reflecting off the glistening waves seen through the windows. Situated at ground floor level, the sandy shores of Sandown Bay are directly opposite.

The accommodation comprises of a large open plan living/kitchen/dining area, which offers lovely views out to sea and a large smart TV, inc Netflix, Amazon & internet. There are three sofas, one that can be used as a sofa bed for one person.

The kitchen area is a modern contemporary style, with breakfast bar seating for up to 3 and includes a Nespresso machine (pods not supplied), an integral fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob. The dining area seats up to 6 guests and also benefits from sea views.

The master bedroom can be made up as a super-king or a twin room; please advise your preference on booking. There is a dressing table, that can also be used as a work desk for those looking to work whilst away. This room has a stylish en-suite with contemporary tiles, a corner power-shower with diverter, vanity basin and toilet. The second bedroom is a twin room. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over and overhead diverter, vanity basin and toilet.

Please be advised there are other properties still under construction to the rear of the property, which may give rise to some noise during the day.

OUTSIDE
Small patio at the front of the property, opposite the beach, with exterior table and bench seating
There is a parking space for 1 car at the rear of property. In addition, some visitor spaces are available, on a first come first served basis

ADDITIONAL:

PLEASE NOTE: The third phase of this development is now underway, therefore there are ongoing building works onsite, approx 20-30 meters away from the property. We have been informed the proposed works are to be scheduled between the hours of 8am to 4pm Monday – Friday.



PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit will be required a week before arrival at the property. No money is taken unless damage is reported at the property within 14 days of departure.

This property can accept a maximum of 1 dog. The charge is £35 per dog, per week and we kindly ask that you bring your own dog bedding. Please ensure that you correctly add your pet when making your booking, so this additional cost is included. If it becomes apparent that you have brought a pet with you but did not advise us, we will contact you to request payment separately.

Arrival time: 16.00 onwards / Departure time: 10:00a.m.

Please be advised, this apartment is on one level, accessed via the stairs or a lift from the parking space. Alternatively, having gained access via the stairs and Key Safe, anyone with mobility issues can use the door at the front of the property, which is at ground level.

There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car, unless agreed with the Owner of the property. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without prior approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost.

There is a strict no smoking policy.

Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and cot linen as necessary.

Bookings for hen and stag parties are not accepted.

Kindly be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival.

A breach of the rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

Sandown is a very popular coastal location on the Isle of Wight, not only in the summer season, but also appeals to those looking for a winter break to enjoy long walks along the sandy bay and pier or to visit the various local attractions, in particular the famous Sandown zoo.

Had a wonderful stay at colonels apartment, very clean, lovely sea view just right for when you wake up in the morning, such a beautiful apartment will be definitely stay again.

Gorgeous apartment, really clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Great location too, next door to Sandham Gardens, 30 second walk to the Bandstand restaurant, 5 minutes walk to Sandown Esplanade & High Street. Will definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Colonels Apartment. The apartment was clean and welcoming upon our arrival. The location was perfect! It was amazing to open our front door and see the beach and the sea. It is literally a stones throw from the beach which was ideal for having little ones. It is also great how close to the play park it was. The apartment was everything we hoped for, for a lovely week away!
