Belle Vue, Napoleons Landing is a contemporary, three bedroom waterfront apartment, located on the seventh floor with panoramic views of Sandown and Shanklin Bay. The apartment has an open layout with sea views from the kitchen/dining room, living room, master bedroom and balcony making it the perfect coastal retreat with a view of the sandy beach and the passing ships and cruise liners on the horizon. The kitchen/dining room is well-equipped, with a contemporary finish and plenty of seating with the option to enjoy your morning coffee at the breakfast bar or have a leisurely breakfast at the dining table.

Situated on Sandown Bay and surrounding areas, renowned for it’s long stretching sandy beaches where there is plenty to see and do. There are many pubs and eateries nearby in Sandown and the nearby towns of Shanklin, Ryde and Ventnor. A golden sand haven on the south coast of the Isle of Wight, Sandown offers a wonderful promenade, a beach which stretches for miles and there is plenty for families to do. This part of the coast is popular for kitesurfing and other watersports. It has a great selection of attractions, including a Zoo housed in an old fort and a purpose built interactive Dinosaur Museum. For train enthusiasts, five miles away is Haven Street Steam Railway where you can look around the museum and enjoy a silver service dining experience whilst taking a ride on the train.

From Sandown, you can explore South Wight and West Wight. It’s a great location to get around the south and west parts of the island. In the south, it takes less than half an hour to drive to Shanklin and the journey to Ventnor isn’t much further. Just north of Sandown, you’ll find Yaverland where the beaches are slightly quieter. Further inland is Brading and more to the west you can visit the harbour villages of Bembridge, Seaview and St Helens.

ADDITIONAL:

PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit will be required a week before arrival at the property. No money is taken unless damage is reported at the property within 14 days of departure.

PLEASE NOTE:
Wight Fire Doors have been employed to inspect and report on all Fire Doors at Napoleons Landing and advise that the inspection will take place on Friday 19th April 2024. Access will need to be provided should a booking fall in this duration.

This property does not accept hen/stag parties.

Arrival time: 16.00 onwards / Departure time: 10:00am.

There is a strict no smoking policy.

Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels as necessary.

Please be advised the apartment is on the 7th floor, accessible by stairs and a lift.

Kindly be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival.

A breach of the rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

Location

Glorious Sandown Bay is on your doorstep, and voted one of the Island’s best beaches, providing a long stretch of sand and great swimming waters. Along this stretch you can see the red sandstone through to the white chalk of Culver cliff, and it is around here that fossil remains can be found.Sandham Garden’s play area is just across the road from the apartment with go karting sky nets and crazy golf and children’s play area. A short flat walk further along towards Yaverland, and you will also find the Wild Heart Animal Sanctuary formerly the isle of Wight Zoo, famous for its big cats.
The town of Sandown is brimming with attractions to entertain visitors, most of them right on the beach front itself, so you never have to stray too far from the golden sands. Should you enjoy a coastal walk, you can walk the length of Sandown Bay from Yaverland past the Pier along the seaside revetment all the way to the popular neighbouring town of Shanklin. If you are keen on an active holiday, the bay is hugely popular with water-sports, and you’ll certainly see people paddle boarding, surfing, catamaran and dingy sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing, depending on the weather.

There are numerous attractions to discover for all ages on this beautiful sunny island. The Needles landmark attraction is a must see, with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay. Why not pay a visit to Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and Gardens, or perhaps Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK.

Was a perfect stay. The apartment has everything you need, is spacious and the location is amazing. Spent most evenings on the balcony watching the tide roll in or out. Close to everything in Sandown and the beach right outside the apartment block was less busy then the ones the other side of the pier so was great to be able to run straight down there. Would highly recommend

Here is our review. What a fantastic stay! We will be returning. Well equipped and appointed apartment with wonderful sea views. Easy and clear instructions to access the property and parking. Superb facilities in the apartment. Sadly Sandown is quite run down at the moment, however it looked like development work should give this tired seaside town a much needed boost. Don’t let that put you off staying in this fantastic apartment. With best wishes Sarah

We had 4 nights away with longstanding friends and we were extremely pleased with the accommodation. Spacious, comfortable, extremely well kitted out and nicely decorated with some great artwork. Fab views from the the huge windows, 7 floors up. Some great walks from the apartment and good places to eat and drink
