25 Breakwaters on the beautiful Isle of Wight, is an excellent choice to book your next holiday or short break, able to comfortably accommodate up to four guests its nestled just off England’s south coast. The Island is surprisingly easy to reach and only a couple of hours from London, with regular ferries running from Southampton, Portsmouth and Lymington. Leave the car behind should you wish and travel here by rail and catamaran across the Solent, by booking a combined ticket from any Mainland train station to nearby Sandown.

This modern second floor apartment is the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the Island or sunning yourself on the beach, which is situated just in front of the building. Internally the open plan living area has gorgeous leather sofas and a Smart TV, where you can sit in comfort and relax and enjoy the sea views from the patio doors or walk out onto the apartments wonderfully positioned balcony, where you can take in the excellent panoramic views, admire the passing ships on the English Channel, and, as the evening draws in, watch the colourful lights begin to glimmer around the curve of the bay. The dining area has seating for up to four people and is situated adjacent to the well-equipped kitchen area, perfect for entertaining and socialising. There are two spacious bedrooms, the master bedroom has a double size bed and its own en-suite shower-room whilst the second bedroom is also set up as a double and served by the family bathroom featuring a double width shower.

Glorious Sandown Bay is on your doorstep, and voted one of the Island’s best beaches, providing a long stretch of sand and great swimming waters. Along this stretch you can see the red sandstone through to the white chalk of Culver cliff, and it is around here that fossil remains can be found.Sandham Garden’s play area is just across the road from the apartment with go karting sky nets and crazy golf and children’s play area. A short flat walk further along towards Yaverland, and you will also find the Wild Heart Animal Sanctuary formerly the isle of Wight Zoo, famous for its big cats.The town of Sandown is brimming with attractions to entertain visitors, most of them right on the beach front itself, so you never have to stray too far from the golden sands. Should you enjoy a coastal walk, you can walk the length of Sandown Bay from Yaverland past the Pier along the seaside revetment all the way to the popular neighbouring town of Shanklin. If you are keen on an active holiday, the bay is hugely popular with water-sports, and you’ll certainly see people paddle boarding, surfing, catamaran and dingy sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing, depending on the weather.

There are numerous attractions to discover for all ages on this beautiful sunny island. The Needles landmark attraction is a must see, with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay. Why not pay a visit to Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and Gardens, or perhaps Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK.


Please be advised that there are other properties still under construction, to the rear of the property, which may give rise to some noise during the day.

Allocated parking for 1 car behind the property. In addition, visitor spaces are available, on a first come first served basis.

ADDITIONAL:

PLEASE NOTE: The third phase of this development is now underway, therefore there are ongoing building works onsite, approx 20-30 meters away from the property. We have been informed the proposed works are to be scheduled between the hours of 8am to 4pm Monday – Friday.



PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit will be required a week before arrival at the property. No money is taken unless damage is reported at the property within 14 days of departure.

This property can accept a maximum of 1 dog. The charge is £35 per dog, per week and we kindly ask that you bring your own dog bedding. Please ensure that you correctly add your pet when making your booking, so this additional cost is included. If it becomes apparent that you have brought a pet with you but did not advise us, we will contact you to request payment separately.

Arrival time: 16.00 onwards / Departure time: 10:00a.m.

Guests have access to a beach hut opposite the apartment, which includes chairs, a wind break, buckets/ spades, rugs and parasols.

For security purposes a security camera is in 24 hour operation, monitoring and viewing the public and common spaces.

There is a strict no smoking and no party policy at the property.

Guests are welcome to use the telescope and binoculars in the apartment.

Please be advised access to this second-floor apartment is via stairs or lift.

Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels as necessary.

Kindly be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival.

A breach of the rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

This apartment was absolutely stunning, it was bright and modern, spotlessly clean, the beds and pillows were really comfortable Things we loved: The view from the balcony and the sound of the ocean. It was spotlessly clean. It was bright and modern. Having two bathrooms. The beds were really comfortable. It was dog friendly.Everything we could possibly need was provided. Loved that it had an Alexa. The beach hut Parking bay was provided. The Island Holiday Company staff were SO kind, friendly, attentive and helpful. There wasn’t anything we didn’t love about the property!

Well what an unexpected delight the accomodation at 25 Breakwaters was! When we walked into the 3rd floor apartment we were instantly blown away by the fantastic panoramic views of the sea. With the tide in it was like being on a cruise ship! The balcony was private in that it had walls either side and had a lovely seating area to watch the world go by. The apartment itself was bright, light and very modern and looked brand new. The kitchen was well equipped and nothing was lacking. So overall, everything about our stay was brilliant and the beach and restaurants being on our doorstop was great too. Although quite expensive for the three of us for a week, we would absolutely recommend. And of course, the weather was kind to us with glorious sunshine all week! It will be some time before we return as we visited the Island 6 yrs ago and our friend had not been for over 50yrs. This time we revisited some places and found some new attractions too. The beauty of the place is that due to its size, nothing is too far away, so driving is a breeze.
